First competition!

The first competition will be held as soon as we can get 10 members to sign up for it!

The rules is as follows:

GLITCHES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

Gametype: Warzone
Map: Day One
Weapons: Nothing Swapped
Style: Single Elimination

Prize: First place, either microsoft points or free xbl. Still haven't decided which.

It will work like this, the 10 members will be split into 2 teams, best 2/3 games first to 5 wins a game. Whoever wins 2/3 games gets their team to the next round. The player who scored the highest (points) on that team gets a bye round to the next set.

The remaining 4 will go into 2 teams of two, again best 2/3 whoever wins and goes on.

Now its down to 3, at this point the remaining 3 will play each other and whoever has the best record at the end of that 3 set will win the tournament. If there is a tie, those two players must play again.

EXAMPLE:

Players 1-5 on Team RED
Players 6-10 on Team BLUE

Team Red won 2/3 matches against BLUE and BLUE is eliminated. Player 1 on Team RED Scored the highest with 2500 points so he sits the next round out while Players 2,3 VS. 4,5.

2,3 Won their 2/3 against 4,5 so 4,5 is eliminated and 2,3 goes on.

Now 1,2 and 3 play each other as follows:
1 VS. 2 - 1 won
1 VS. 3 - 3 won
2 VS. 3 - 3 won

In this event 3 would win the prize!

Other tournaments will be held differently, as well as some more like this. Later tournaments will also include entire team prizes and extended team tournaments, we just need more members!

Better prizes and tournaments come with more members so get recruiting!

First of all thanks for taking interest!

I want to form a community of people who love the game, not hate it.

Now we only need 8 more members and we can set a date! Also, I'm about 90% sure it will be xbl card not M$ points. Next time I will take a vote from everyone for the prize instead.

i don't like the fact we would have to play with randoms.
i think this should be broken into a 2 v2 v2 v 2
and if you sighn up with a partner thats ur partner if not you get matched with a random,
and it should be hammerbursts only no lancers

I'm sorry that is the way that I am running this competition, however if you would elaborate a little bit more and make a new thread explaining it I would be happy to consider your idea for future tournaments!

Would love to join the competition if there's still space, I'm all for meeting new people and playing a NON-glitching, fun game. So if there's room, count me in.

One thing, I usually only use LIVE rather then post and check forums, just happened to see this on the off chance, so is there any chance you could message me over live with dates e.t.c.?
